The Popcorn Gourmet has been in business since 1989. When we began, popcorn was the only thing we made and over the years, we have tried to expand our products with a continuing philosophy... to make everything fresh to order. In order to accomplish that, we had to adopt the "small batch" process to control the quality and consistency of the product. We opened our own small retail shop and it became a success. Over the years we added chocolates and candy, roasted nuts and fudge.

Our fudge became recognized and considered The Best of Boston and our popcorn went to the Academy Awards. As time went on, some of the best know restaurants began using our fudge and chocolate in their desserts. Candy companies wanted to buy our popcorn and candies for resale. In addition, we had been preparing products with custom packaging for many companies for year round gifts through our distributors and sales partners.

Today, we make more than 65 flavors of popcorn, roast fresh nuts, make all sorts of chocolates and treats and manufacture more than 150 flavors of fudge. All in small batches, always fresh to order, never "off the shelf"(like other companies); just like we did 20 years ago. It takes a little longer but, boy oh boy, it’s worth it!
